Prying both Konecny and JVR from philly will take more than that. TK is signed through 24-25 and is 25 years old. Look at the Jeannot, Meier, and Horvat trade prices – each of those players had no term left and the return was pretty large. TK is an absolute rat and philly, Torts, and Chuck Fletcher love him. I don't see that trade happening, even though he'd be a perfect fit for TO. TO should wait on Steeves – he will turn into a Ross Colton-type player when he gets his shot.

JVR probably takes at least a 1st, 3rd, and 5th to retain 50% of 7mil.

Does TO want to get rid of Kerfoot for picks? What good does that do this year? Depth in the East is so important right now given the bloodbaths in each series that are going to unfold.
