What about Granny...2,5 millions retention for the next 3 years. Seems like Avs should pay way more for that.
Stable 50+ point player, that can play center and wing stable 16+ minutes with 2,5 millions contract should cost way more.

yeah, they might consider the granlund deal next year if they are out but they still have the same base that got them to playoffs last year. Josi still has legs so i wouldn't be surprised if they give it one or two more goes before they start retaining multiple years of salary

The problem with Granlund is that if they sell now, they’re selling at his minimum value. He’s not doing very well this season.
