Murray is coming off LTIR, and the team needs a 7th dman and 13th forward, so send down Woll, which still leaves a 13th forward in ZAR and 2 of timmins/holl/gustafson would have to be sent down, and none are waivers exempt, (Neither holl or gustaffson would get claimed, but Holl would still count against cap slightly, that makes your 7th dman timmins.

Its going to be close, TOR needs to drop Holl in trade probably, or get a 3rd party to retain on Bertuzzi or....

Makes 23-24 interesting with an RFA in goal, 3 albeit 3rd pairing dmen going UFA, and 7 of your 13 forwards all UFA, including all your LWs, and without any real big ticket/cap hits departing. Its like 11 expiring guys making collectively about 17 mil.

Holl or Kerfoot. Or both. Detroit can retain on Bertuzzi. They can even take Kerfoot or Holl if needed as they're both UFA's. As long as they get Minten and a 1st.

I just can't see Yzerman trading with Dubas. Dubas really screwed Holland around in that Hyman UFA rights thing. Holland is close to Yzerman. Just guessing on my part.

Yzerman is more likely to deal with Jimmy Nill in Dallas. His old AGM.

You're right, Dubas and Yzerman haven't made many moves together (if at all)
