I'm hoping a team gets desperate and pays more for Domi, but that's pretty much all there's left to offer unless a dark horse Raddysh trade is made. They're getting to the point where they're running out of NHL talent.

At this point I think it’s 60/40 Domi gets traded before the deadline, 20/80 Khaira does, and 10/90 AA does.

Those numbers are completely arbitrary and based on vibes so could be completely wrong.

I know, i'm surprised keeping Domi is even slightly considered. If this is a full blow rebuild and you can trade him at $1.5M cap hit on a career year, how do you not move him? Isn't the plan accumulate as many picks as possible? I dunno, time will tell!

It makes perfect sense to move Domi given the circumstances. I just wonder if we don’t have any runway left. Whose big move is going Domi? What do we get offered for him as a secondary market player? I think if it’s less than a 2nd (in 24 or 25) then the hawks will keep and extend him.

Considering there's no superstar forwards left and Toronto, EDM, VGK, don't seem to be done, who knows what might happen. Is keeping him the best possible move if there's a need to stack top 5 picks the next 2-3 drafts? I'm not sure. I think you bottom out, get as many picks as you can, and use your cap space to acquire bad contracts. Fills the cupboard with more picks and gets to the cap floor.
