Don't think they'll get Laffy under 3 M if he stats is 0.5 ppg at the end of the season. And probably a little bit higher if post season goes well for him. The reason Kakko got 2.1 was lack of production.

If Chytil signs for 4.5M, it will be for 2 years....I believe there is a clause for him (because how long he's been in NHL) to go UFA after 2 more years. The smart move would be to sign him for 5- but I'm guessing that will cost at least 6M per.

LaF will cost more than Kakko...I'm guessing between 2.5 and 3M.

All adds up to they will need to do more than just move Goodrow to make this all happen. The better solution would be to eat some of Trouba's salary and move him instead of Goodrow. In any case, NYR will be forced into an uncomfortable move involving someone this coming off season....all a result of trying to compensate for self inflicted wounds.
