Really like the idea of this trade but I do not think it's likely. However, depending on how Nylander's contract negotiations work out in the offseason, I can see a trade that revolves around Nylander for Wilson. Obviously more will be included in the trade but those will be the main pieces. Wilson is exactly what we need for this team and I assume we can extend him to a cheaper number than what Nylander will inevitably end up getting. I really like Nylander but I think he will not be a leaf next year regardless of what happens this postseason. Would like to move him for a necessary piece in return rather than lose him for nothing.

Won’t happen but Wilson would need at least Knies and a couple firsts as a starter. Overpay and don’t think he’s worth that but he won’t be moved
