Comtois' trade value was at a low point during the off-season and hasn't moved far off that bottom, so on the general principle that you don't sell an asset or near its low, I wouldn't expect him to be on the market.

I figured it this way....they get a first round for us that will probly fall between 25 and 30.....where as we get a high second...difference should not be that much.......besides Dubas likes to trade down on first picks....I did not see your suggestion....I am looking for people's opinion...I think Comtois would be perfect big body on a 3rd line...would make a great checking line

Eakins has totally misused him and it’s hard to watch as he doesn’t put him in any position to have any success

I mean if i was the Ducks i would not give up on him....just going on what i have read out there as possible trade options and guys that would fit what the Leafs need.....people seem to think Comtois needs a change of scenery
