Not a fan of the Bjugstad signing. Honestly, I think Steeves takes a 3rd line role out of camp. 2 years as a Marlie he has looked awefully good.

Most will say that you are short on the ROR deal.... but a recent Twitter post from Carlo Colaiacavo (who covers the Blues these days apparently) stated ROR wanted Toronto, and both GMs made it happen. IF that report is right, I think we need to ask how much of a haircut he takes to stay.

Given ROR is 32, has made more money than Walter White, and of course is from Southern Ontario. I’d say he’s primed to take the hometown discount. I can picture both sides being happy with a deal like this.

Very possible. I had debates if he would chase the money, then I saw that tweet.

Given how Dubas has NEVER traded 1sts for rentals, there just maybe something there. Getting him at $3 million would be fabulous. Even if the offensive game slides, his defensive abilities make the contract age well

I’d rather he be on the third line anyways, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that happening.

...that's what I said now, Princes, Princes who adore you..... sorry couldn't help myself! It is, after all, what brought me to the post. tears of joy

If you can sign ROR at that you do it every day and twice on Sunday, but even with a discount as a local boy I think you're looking at 4 plus.
DoBap a aimé ceci.
