Keeping my fingers crossed that Murray is ok with rehabbing until the end of the season his health should come first and it will help the team a lot if he went on the LTIR.

Personally, I don't like the strategy of dumping Holl to acquire Edmundson which requires moving Sandin to his offside at the cost of two moderate futures. I just don't see Edmundson as a better option on the second pairing than either of Sandin OR Holl. You guys are 7th in the league in goals against (6th, temporarily, if Washington lights up Carolina on Saturday), so I don't see how Edmundson is going to make a significant difference for you. If you were just adding him, then this would make more sense to me. (And I'd like to see you get a little more retention on him from Montreal -- then you'd have enough room to run a 23-man roster.)

Half our blue line is made up by puck movers, so in my opinion it’s very important to replace what Muzzin brought if he’s done for his career. Not very many options that wouldn’t cost us an arm and a leg so I thought edmunson wouldn’t be a terrible pick up.
