Let's be real Dubas is gonna try to go through extreme amounts of hoops to keep Knies. This is kinda what I realistically see them doing idk, its a guess based off his 2 trading habits, One stop shopping and keeping his first at all costs. I feel like there would need to be more in this but Ottawa 3rd is just a late 2nd lets be real, and it'd be giving too much if I add another player so idk, maybe a condition on the trade like 2024th 2nd turns into a first if the leafs make the conference finals or something. I think I'm on the right track though. Also Holl has a 10 team NTC most likely with Chicago on it so...ooof

You don't need add another player you need to replace all those Leafs players/prospects with one decent player or good prospect.
