I would be. Anything is possible, but when's the last time a big name UFA signed in Winnipeg? I think the answer is never. So, why would a player who has only been to Winnipeg 6 or 7 times in his career, decide to go ahead and sign long term, sight unseen, in Winnipeg, when he could sign anywhere he wants?

It's not impossible, but you have to think for Winnipeg, there is a 99.9% chance he's a rental and that's being optimistic. Then you have to factor in the Jets don't really have the long term cap space for another expensive winger without sacrificing depth at other, more needed positions.
