i don't suspect the sharks will gather to much for Mieier considering his qualifying offer, at this point he would be considered a rental since not many teams will have the cap space to qualify him at 10M, plus sandin has been pretty solid he is certainly not worth trading currently

I feel that Chychrun deal is light. If I’m Arizona, Knies is a must coming back. They know leafs are in Win Now mode, and will have much better offers than that. Feeling something along the lines of Kerfoot + Knies + 2023 1st + 2024 2nd would be the deal. I know leaf fans don’t want to trade Knies but your window is now.

Not the Sharks problem, though - it's been reported that Meier will be just treated like a typical UFA rental this deadline anyway, so value him accordingly. Even as a rental, a 26 year old winger who scored 35 goals last year and has 30 through 52 GP this year is going to bring in a haul.
