Line 1: Barzal gets a bona fide goal scorer and the 1st line actually gets a lot more viable with a Faceoff wizard at center. Palmieri, while not Elite, has looked good in recent play. Can’t hurt.
Line 2: This line has had historically good chemistry, an air of continuity is always necessary after a trade. Also, splitting up Nelson and Lee always seems like a bad move.
Line 3: Pageau and Parise continue to be effective together, no reason to break them up. And I like Holmstrom’s game so far, I feel like he should be scoring more than he is. Keeping him on a more sheltered line is for now the right move.
Line 4: Violence.
