Being super realistic here, Schenn is going to fetch you more of a return than Myers. He’s a cheaper and effective rental for a contending teams bottom 4. If a team is going to inquire about him, they’ll just turn their attention to Schenn.

Nashville wont be that team. We’ll be inclined to keep our younger players and approach a re-tool, rather than moving them for vets we don’t need.

I'm talking about next year's deadline not this year's deadline so Schenn is irrelevant.

Because arguing with Canucks fans is exhausting. It seems all you and the other guy have done here is try to convince me that Myers and Bear are all “much better” than Fabbro.

Your logic is so weird. You’ll make an ACGM with a bad Fabbro trade and when we decline, the justification is “well Fabbro isn’t actually that good, and Nashville wont even qualify him”
Then why are you trading for him? Why do you want him?
If the answer is going to be “well, because he’s younger”
Then that might be why Nashville keeps him, right?
Have you guys ever considered that he’s valuable to Nashville? Regardless of you think “Bear is better”, Poile wouldn’t be inclined to move Fabbro unless it’s an offer that he really likes. That’s usually how he trades. Fabbro has value to HIM.
But I wouldn’t expect you to use critical thinking.

All you’ve done here is try to sell yourself on your own players. Keep them. We don’t want any of them.

I didn’t propose this trade

Hahahahaha Fabbro for a 2nd is a laughable take.

I find it very weird how you're so certain that it's "generous" to assume Fabbro would receive a 3rd, but you also made two ACGM's where you traded him to the Canucks. Is he bad, or good? Pick one.

It's also weird how you're so absolutely certain that his player comparable is Ethan Bear. Bear struggled to get ice time and a footing into the Edmonton lineup, so he was flipped to the Canes, where he also struggled. If he's finally found his footing on Vancouver, great for them and great for him.

Like EKL said, Fabbro is important to Nashville's right side. Being only 24, it's not a terrible thing for him to be having himself a down year. He's still got time. He had 24pts last season while being a defensive piece to Josi's phenomenal career offensive year. But, the entire team is having a down year. Nashville isn't even in a wildcard spot, and it's certainly not Fabbro's doing. His dip in ice time is a result of Nashville bringing in a veteran like McDonagh to alleviate the loads on Fabbro and Carrier, who are both having down years. Even Josi is having a down year. (Might have something to do with Hynes being a horrible coach as well)

With many teams seeking out young RHD, Poile is going to use that to his advantage and either keep Fabbro or flip him to a team for semi-valuable assets. Many Ottawa fans were suggesting a Lassi Tomson - Fabbro switch with a mid round pick going back Nashville's way. This would benefit both teams.
Boeser and Myers are not the assets Nashville needs.

It's more optimal we hang onto our younger players. And like I said, if Fabbro is so bad, stop trading for him.

There's a difference between alleviating the load on a player and a player playing 14-16mins a night.

I did this whole song and dance with canes fans about Bear less than a year ago. I'm not doing it again. Fabbro will either go unqualified or traded for pennies on the dollar before the end of next season. Mark my word

No man, we must undersell our players and jump at every opportunity to acquire Canucks players, because they're so much better. It's a very common theme at this point.
