It definitely does and I feel like that trade's already a given at this point - however, I feel more safe taking a gamble on Fabbro, considering he's had regular Top 4 minutes on a defensively-minded team developing him. Whereas Foote hasn't been given those minutes as consistently these past two seasons. Why not acquire both projects + a pick or two?

Nashville doesn’t accept. We have only have 2 true NHL RHD, so moving one without getting a guy back is out of the question. Plus, I don’t like Garland’s contract. I’d assume that we easily decline

Only way I see a Fabbro to VAN deal working is Burroughs plus a pick and ok prospect. We can’t really take on any of your cap though, so I think it may just be hard to work out
