Ottawa doesn’t do Greig straight up for durzi let alone add picks with him. Everyone knows LA has to move a d man which means they’ll get below market value for whoever they move. They might get the 2nd alone but that’s it

They won't get fleeced though, a 2nd round pick alone should not be enough to get a 24 year old D-man with 6 goals and 26 points in 45 games. I see what you mean, but if push comes to shove, they'll trade someone worth a little less than Durzi, if it means getting less back.

And on that note, I'll go ahead and say the Kings will likely keep Durzi and shop Walker.

Both do it. OTT needs a guy like Durzi, Greig is a great F prospect, but needs more seasoning, OTT pays the premium because they're more desperate

While conceding Greig is a great prospect, I think the Kings need the guy like Durzi more than they do another forward prospect. They have Fiala, Moore, Danault and Kempe signed to 4 year or longer deals, and Vilardi, Byfield, Grundstrom, Lizotte, Turcotte, Kaliyev, Kupari, Anderson-Dolan waiting around or near there, or just getting there, not to mention Iafallo and Arvidsson could stick around when their deals are up soon.

No question Greig is good, but for the Kings right now, trying to contend, I think they'll keep the ready D asset (at least if it's Durzi) rather than the future F asset on this one smile
