As a Flyers' fan, I would take that deal just for Giroux. However, add in Ghost, and you'll need to add to that package, especially since we're taking back a bad contract in Plekanec.

Flyers fans stop trolling. You just got Galchenyuk that you can sign for 7 yrs at 5.5 mill and Sergachev that will be alot cheaper than Ghost for the next 3 years. Suffering 1 year of Pleky is ridiculous. You know what...ill keep Pleky, but you gotta retain 2.25 mill from aging Girouxs cap. Cause his contract is 10x worst than Plekanec Lol. Man that's crazy, why would anybody want Giroux for that cap hit anyway. Sergachev is the next Burns. No thanks I'll just keep both Galchenyuk and Sergachev and just buy out Plekanec and sign Thornton to 5 mill for a couple of years

based on my observation on this site, almost every deal involving PHI and MTL, Flyers fans demand Sergachev + in pretty much any deal or no dice, but if anybody asks for Provorov they cry blasphemy! McDavid or no deal.....
