Question Flames fans

Description
Obviously a trade will need to be made to field a team roster of 21-22 players next year. Which player will most likely be traded to clear this space out of Zadorov, Dube, and Toffoli?

I personally believe it's going to be Zadorov , but I'm curious what flames fans think as they watch the team on a day to day basis.

Also do you think you will have to pay to get rid of one of these players like the Jason Dickinson deal, or something more like Kulikov and Pacioretty where it was future considerations, or something like Bjorkstrand where it was a couple of mid round picks?

Considering we don’t really have a solid replacement for Zadorov, I doubt it’s him and Dube’ll likely give us 20 Goals and 0.50PPG at just $2.3mil, so I’d say of the 3 you’ve mentioned, Toffoli is the most likely, especially if Coronato signs and steps right in.

I could see Hanifin or Tanev being Traded as well if they don’t re-sign on Team Friendly extensions in the off-season and we could get good value in return for them.

All the players discussed here have value. There’ll be no need to pay to dump any of those guys, we’ll get something for them

Has Kylington fallen out of favor that much to not be considered a replacement for Zadorov? I know he is dealing with that personal issue but he was solid last year and makes a bout a million less

Toffoli being the oldest and most expensive of who you mentioned makes the most sense to let go.

Hopefully we make a move at the TDL that helps us not have to make a bad move just to be cap compliant going into next season.

I'm not very optimistic that we get anything back in a worst case scenario, if Patches gets sent out for nothing we kinda have to expect the same.

We’d use both Zadorov & Kylington with either Hanifin or Weegar at 1LW. Kylington could be traded in favour of keeping Hanifin. Kylington is better offensively but Zadorov brings far more Size, Physicality and D-Zone Defence
