CGY has a ton of cap space. No real need for them to search for relief, even for a player like Brouwer.

Very true, I was just reading a few rumors (rumors are just rumors...) that CGY would add a sweetener to LVK if they selected Brouwer. He'll probably accept coming back to CHI regarding his NTC. And like you said...they have the cap space to eat $750k easy.

I don't think Flames management would do this deal. Panarin is awesome, but they love Tkachuk because he has that rare combination of size, skill and agitating qualities. Plus he's already playing and contributing at the NHL level at just 18/19 years of age. You probably have to pry him from Tre's cold dead fingers.
