Labanc is finally having a good season but only when he plays with Timo and Hertl. I think you could get him cheaper. Maybe a 3rd instead of that 1st.

at this point how outlandish is it to say the leafs are giving the two most valuable assets in the EDM deal? its a stretch but not entirely out of the realm of possibility. Kerfoot is no doubt the best player in the deal though. With the way the teams playing, we're not in the market for an in-season downgrade

also simmonds cleared waivers and does have one element that we don't really have (his play sucks but if we really needed that type of player why not have him available). not saying he should be playing but why not keep the option at this point

to me Puljujärvi still has potential and would fit in the leafs system kerfoot why he is the better player right now he will probably be looking for upward or close to 4 million in free agency. So why not get a player who toronto could more than likely fix and make a great 2 way forward out of in Puljujärvi and give a a player who isn`t really doing much this season in kerfoot
