I love Looch but it’s time to pay to dump him.

Flames have no need to dump Lucic without a reason or needing cap space for a trade, in which they’ll include him in that trade or deal with it then OR they’ll use the $5-6mil+ they’ll have accumulated by the Trade Deadline and simply keep and use Lucic for the playoffs

I don’t see Pelletier being inserted in to the lineup. They’re on a road trip and will just use the guys they already have with them. You’d also have to waive another player to fit him in the roster, and we’d likely lose that player to waivers

There’s no trade to include him in unless we would take back another cap dump, which would be useless.

While I doubt Lucic gets moved, Lucic has provided the Flames with a list of 10 Teams he is willing to be Trade too.

Lucic is still a player teams will want, especially for the playoffs so whether we have to retain or not, he can be traded and for something we want/need in return. He may also be willing to return to his Home City to retire in Vancouver in a Trade with them too.
