Edmonton doesn't need more top 6 guys. They need bottom 6 players who are extremely good defensively, tough to play against and have an actual role. Kuzmenko would be a nice add to any team, but I don't think Edmonton should be spending assets for a guy like that.

Getting Schenn would be a decent depth option for Edmonton. I agree there.

I agree but I also see pulji being traded at the deadline, our core top 5 is rock solid - elite but our 2RW position isnt as strong with Yamamoto

Well for starters your wants don’t have cap space to do so.

Next up Schenn is awesome value who can play up the pairings. Kuzmenko is a very cheap add that is developed & mature showing he is picking the NHL game & culture change very well.

Summary: the Canucks would want more to entertain any idea of trading either or both.
