Retain yes but not 20 mil. Remember, Karlsson likes it in SJ and SJ likes Karlsson. No trade requests have been made and Grier has not asked Karlsson to waive nmc. Sharks have all the negotiating power right now and Grier is a very patient GM. So tap the brakes on what you think you know. Sharks are going to get a huge package for Erik and they aren't retaining 20 mil. No GM in league history retains that much in a trade it's horrible asset management. Sharks owner wouldn't let that happen. Period.
