Makes sense for both teams. Even if Leivo, and Pokka are selected by Vegas, Leafs get a player they can use Kruger, and Hawks get cap space and maybe NHLer Rychel. Nice thought.

I don't know. The Hawks need centers and defensemen more than wingers IMO. If Kruger is traded to the Leafs, who does Vegas then select from the Hawks? TvR, Hartman or Panik? A "maybe NHLer" would not be much of an answer. Sure appreciate your warm gesture, tho!! And if the Hawks can't win the Cup, know that this Chicago fan will be rooting for Toronto to break their long drought!

I thought this trade was a lot better than the other being posted (some by Hawks fan). Kruger and a pick to Vegas, or even Kruger and TVR to Vegas.

Thanks for the rooting for the Leafs in the East. I just don't think it's going to go as smoothly as many Leafs fans hope. Gee the Leafs might finish out of the playoffs next year but still "improve" as a team.
I think spring of 2020, 21, 22. The Leafs are will be serious contenders. But haven't we said that about Washington for years?
