Ignore the retention as its not needed. Only used it to approve trade but with Muzzin's LTIR its workable without retention

But in general to me it makes sense for both parties

Toronto gets an upgrade at LW and a nice tough RD for the 3rd pair while Vancouver gets 2 good prospects a 1st (22-32 range) and Kerfoot who is a serviceable player and local to the area. Might even agree to sign a cheap extension with them and be a good contributor for their bottom 6

I agree, I think it's a fair deal, just not sure why the Leafs would move on from Fraser Minten like this so soon

Minten is a guy I deal as in the grand scheme there are other guys that are just as good. Colorado dealt Barron after a year so he kind of made the most sense
