He's already invested significant cap and term into the literal worst defenseman in the league. At the moment, I don't particularly trust Jarmo's judgment on signing contracts. Agree that Boqvist just isn't a fit here. There has to be a team who needs a right handed offensive defenseman.

Yeah, hard to justify the Gudbranson signing. At least the buy-out isn’t bad come 2024.

Again, Horvat isn’t a hill I’m dying on. I just have more faith in it than others, if we were to go with it. I just don’t see too many other trades we can make that would make a significant difference in this team’s trajectory, outside of hiding time and letting the young kids develop into (hopefully) something special.

A move for Connor Murphy at RD is the other one that comes to mind for me.
