I can't see Ruff putting Holtz on the 2nd line, maybe on a 3rd line with Wood and Haula.

I do hope they take out Smith and put Bahl in though, he's earned it. If Bahl played a bit meaner, he would become Ruff's favourite player. Love irony of Smith playing over Bahl because he's grittier than our 6'7" giant.

Blackwood is starting apparently. A bit surprised just because it's VV's former team. But play the hot hand I guess.

The 11F / 7D (with Smith in, Holtz out) has got to be temporary, no?

Giving 6-8 even-strength minutes a game to McLeod/Bastian, also gotta be temporary, no?

Would love to see Boqvist, Zetterlund and especially Holtz worked into this lineup more.

Would like to see Holtz to the right of Sharangovich and Hughes on 2nd line. Mercer bumped to 3rd with Tatar and Haula and Wood to 4th with McLeod and Bastian. Probably will keep rolling with same lineup until we lose

Zetterlund yes, Boqvist no. I've seen enough from Boqvist at this point. I was at opening night and thought Zetterlund was one of better players that night as opposed to Boqvist who played against Philly and was one of the worst players on the ice IMO. I've never seen a player get knocked off the puck so easily

Boqvist has been disappointing at times. I think he has been our most mismanaged prospect, a lot of that from Hynes era. Guy is loaded with talent, and is the fastest player on our team. Just makes you wonder what could have been with him.

5C is tough assignment on this club.
