Here's how it stacks up for Minny (Assuming the cap goes up a reasonable $2mil):

Clearing Pommer's salary allows the Wild to sign Granlund and Nino long term and sign their RFAs while keeping under the cap. Kane gives then a power forward with a scoring touch, and makes them a tougher team to play against (especially in the playoffs). Baptiste, one of Buffalo's top prospects, is a primed and ready RW who likely could make the roster out of camp. And I threw the 2nd round pick in to even out the value and so Minny has a pick in the top two rounds of this draft.

I'm assuming Vegas takes Scandella in the expansion draft. This leaves a hole at LHD, but Olofsson and Reilly look ready to step in. Just in case one of them isn't ready, I gave Ron Hainsley a reasonable one year deal to add depth on the left side.

And finally, I signed Anders Nilsson to clear up the backup goalie situation. Buffalo will likely let him walk and he looked great behind our porous defense, so he should excel in Minnesota.
