Description

Pesce will sign at 29 and a perfect pairing dman for Rielly at a good cap hit. The Samsonov contract is if he reaches his potential and puts up good numbers as a starter. In free agency of 2025 Leafs have 31 million in cap space to sign 5 regulars (Tavares, Marner, Niemela, Woll, number 5 dman) and a scratched player. Lets say Marner gets 12, Niemela 3 (based on talent), Tavares 2, Woll 850k, plus 800 k scratched player. That's 12 million remaining. Leafs can sign a guy like Provorov/Slavin/ for 6.5 and a Johanssen (C) for say 6 million.
