CHI declines. Poolman and Dickinson account for $5.15M in cap space for TWO years, and then Poolman still has one year beyond that. Not to mention both of their contracts are backloaded, so the actual out of pocket cost for CHI would be $14M dollars over those 3 years. A 2024 2nd and a 2023 4th just doesn't pay for all of that. Maybe our new GM would just look at it as warm bodies to fill holes for a few years that help CHI hit the cap floor and easy draft picks, but I doubt it.
