"Whichever team has space and is looking for a LHD" - so for sure NOT Ottawa.

If you're asking for a 2nd round pick, which ain't nothing, maybe as an ACGM you could put more effort into figuring out which team might want/need that trade.

Weird. There were rumblings that they were in on Chychrun.
Dumo wouldn’t be a bad option if they wanted to ease Sanderson into a top 4 role. He’d be an upgrade over Holden and pens would probably be willing to take Holden back and a late pick rather than a 2nd tbh. I agree a 2nd might be too high for Dumoulin given his contract, age, and injury status the last couple years.
But I don’t think this poster specifically meant Ottawa. I think they just picked a team cause you have to pick a team to trade him too and that was probably one of the closer teams to Seattle.

I think the plan was to use Chychrun on the right side, and even if that wasn't the plan, his age fit with Ottawa contending time-line. Dumo's does not. If OTT we'rent looking to push for a playoff spot this year I could see then giving up the '24 2nd (WSH or their own) and then trying to sell Demo for a better return at the deadline, but seeing as they'll likely be in playoff contention they'd put themselves in a weird spot where they'd need to hang onto him and have him walk in the off-season... it just doesn't fit.

I think them making the playoffs depends a lot on Batherson and Formenton. Have they come to a conclusion on the accusations with them?

Currently, they have not been accused of anything. No names have been released in that case and we have no idea if or when they will be.

Ottawa should be looking for a LD, they have Brammstrom and Holden right now. If they want to make the playoffs they probably should bring in a LD. Maybe Dumo isn't that guy, but they definitely need a LD

They have Chabot, Sanderson, Holden and Brannstrom - all left handed. Feeling pretty good about that, thanks anyway.

You sound like someone who didn't watch SENS games much. Holden had his best season in 5 years and was pretty damn steady considering the season Ottawa had.
More importantly, again, Dumo does not fit Ottawa's timeline.
He's UFA and Ottawa would probably have to move him at the deadline because I can't imagine and extension that would work for Dumo AND Ottawa.
