The best thing you can do is read as many ACGMs as possible including the comments and you will have a good sense of value in no time. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I'll take Bertuzzi over Nylander. Bertuzzi is a 200' player and I doubt Nylander can even spell defense. That being said there is absolutely no way Toronto gives up 2 1st round picks I do like Bertuzzi but he isn't worth that much. Even if you take out Nylander out I still don't see Toronto giving up 2 1st rd picks for Bertuzzi. If Bertuzzi for Nylander were to happen it would be pretty close to a 1 for 1.

Pfft, come on man! He can easily spell defence, it is just not "his thing". He has more important things to do...like, you know...stuff and such.
