Sabres won't have cap room. Those trades don't go through because he are dumping unwanted contracts. Moulsen for a young Dman. Bogo and his horrendous contract. Gorges isn't wanted either

I do like this but Toffoli is not a $6 mil guy and to think if he is, we would have to give up big compensation which could be more valuable. Just gotta make sure we have enough room for reinhart and eichel next year.

I think the biggest thing this off season is to target Nashville and/or Anaheim for a defenseman. They both have 4 quality defenseman that need to be protected or traded so Buffalo should be the number 1 contenders in trades. The only thing is that Nashville may way a guy like reinhart instead of Kane because of his ELC. Switching reinhart with kane would make nashvilles protection list muchhhhh easier.

Ellis' contract is incredible from a GM standpoint so i'd love to have him on my team for less than 3 mill
