Because I rather keep Mayfield and resign him than use Schenn for next year and then have to pay to get another RD for 2024. If I'm not 1 piece away, wouldn't it make sense to keep Beau, mayfield and 1st next year in a draft pool that going to be very good and deep?

Mayfield is gonna be way more expensive than Schenn beyond next season, consider that
