Thats fair enough, there does seem to be a logjam at right D for you guys though. Whats the plan with that? Would you guys be more interested in moving Weegar then?

Anaheim isn't the right destination for Kerfoot. I can see Arizona giving you a third for him and then flipping him to a contender at the TDL for a second, or I can see a contender giving you the second now. But rebuilding teams that have prospects to develop by giving them playing time aren't going to invest a second in a rental who will obstruct that process.

I was debating whether a 2nd or 3rd would be more appropriate for Kerfoot, but then Brown got a 2nd from Ottawa both guys are 50 point two way forwards. Brown scores more goals but Kerfoot can give a team 3C minutes as well. I think with retention Kerfoot gets a similar package to Jarnkork at the 2022 deadline. Another pro for Kerfoot is that his salary is much lower than his actual cap hit so for a non cap team its more beneficial to take him on and it hurts them even less retaining him at the deadline.

Why would washington not just make that tanev trade themselves????

Really don't understand why anyone should be giving up assets for Muzzin

Looking at the caps roster I thought maybe they would want to target a top 4 LHD, a D-Core of:

Orlov -Carlson

Muzzin - Jensen

Fehervary - TVR

would be a nice group all in all, in reality the value is Hathaway + 3rd for Muzzin. Id be okay with that as well

You have it backwards, the left side is overloaded with Hanafin, Zadorov, Kylington, Valimaki, Mackey, and Gilbert. We also do not have a prospect worth a crap on the right side

Your right side is also potentially Weegar, Andersson and Tanev all of which are top pair guys. If you guys are in need of a top RHD prospect Toronto has Niemela who is one of our blue chip guys. Trading a D or two to address the forward group could be something thats worth looking into.
