Description

Reports coming out saying the Pens want to trade for a winger for Geno. Here's what I think might happen. Love Bluger but dosen't seem like management is set on keeping him. I have a feeling he could be traded in a package. If a D gets traded I think it will be Ruhwedle or Friedman, Pettersson is good for Petry and Dumo for Letang.

Sources on the winger Geno trade thingy??

Also, there was a rumor that we reportedly offered Pettersson and Blueger to the Habs for Petry straight up and the Habs declined.

Side note: Calgary probably accepts? Not sure tbh. Also, McGinn isn’t gonna be moved.

Hunter Hodies on his podcast said he's been DM'ing with someone in the Pens organization, same person who said the Pens initial Petry offer and apparently very reliable, said Hextall would like to trade for a winger for Geno then slide Zucker down to third line.

Marino was the only reason Vancouver had trade interest with us, so I highly doubt we have a chance at garland, they want a top 4 dman in return.

I think right now were a playoff team for sure. If we can get a second line winger though then we are a real cup contender. Our defense is nasty, way better than last year and our top 6 if we get another winger would be insane.

I'm definitely fine with Nylander playing top 6, wouldn't rule it out either, but don't know if I'm comfortable with all the options we have. Right now its Zucker Kapanen or one of the young guys. Hopefully one of the young guys catches fire, but wouldn't count on it. Zucker if he gets hurt it could be a real problem.
