Maybe because he’s coming off an abysmal, horrid season in a contract year?????

Hextall has said that he feels “comfortable” with where Kap will sign at. Meaning it’s probably something close to 3, maybe a tad more in this acgm, but he’s certainly not going to be getting a raise or we won’t be signing him.

Whens the last time an RFA with arbitration rights took a drop in pay for a 1 year deal? (I think you'll find its not never, but it wont happen, he'll be dealt)

Highly doubt the Pens want to go into the season with POJ and Smith as 2/3 of the LD.

He just signed for 3.2m for a year. As I said, he wouldn’t get a raise or he wouldn’t be signed right now.

As I said he wont take a drop in salary on a 1 year deal
