They are reported to have been interested in Tkachuk in the past. There is no report of Tkachuk having mutual interest in them yet. Not saying it couldn't happen. Just stating what was reported.

They’re essentially giving up two elite number 1 centres, and a fringe number 1 centre (assuming Bourque and Johnston continue developing like they should) for Tkachuk. That’s wayyy too much to give up.

You can’t be serious right now. They aren’t giving up 3 number one centers basically. They are giving away a number one center with two prospects. Imagine if other fan bases started to call their prospects what their potential is. “Oh carolina is giving up a Norris caliber d man in morrow for tkachuk”

Well you aren’t just giving away prospects like they’re nothing, it’s a general observation of what they’ll become, obviously the real thing has more value, but it doesn’t knock off the value of the prospect.

Those two prospects are some of the best in the league (more Johnston than Bourque). If Hintz is included, there’s not much going to be added. If those two prospects are included, a couple other assets will be added. They will absolutely not cross paths in the same package no matter what.

And other fanbases do say that as a matter of fact, I’ve seen many Canes fan say they won’t trade Morrow because apparently he’s the next Makar.

But in what world is the Stars package worth the same as Vegas’s? Or in what world is this fair for Dallas?
