If I had to guess on a return it would be something like a solid prospect, 2023 1st round pick, 2024 conditional 1st round pick and a 2nd. The condition being the Avs winning the cup this year.

This trade wouldn't really move the needle very much for Chicago as they'd be looking for far more, especially when retaining over $5m. It would probably cost a good young prospect and a 1st round pick to land Kane given that he's still very productive.

Looking at your history, you provided an adequate offer for Kane a week ago. Why was it changed to a very obvious low ball?

I see there being a three-team trade for the Avs to acquire Kane, including JT or G, where we get picks and prospects that we can send along for Kane. I love Kane and think having him on this team would be elite, but that's a lot to remove from the picture, though it's looking more and more like G or JT will be traded at some point this offseason.
