I think Poehling is a strong candidate for a roster spot. If he doesn't make it, he's very probably claimed off waivers.

how good is he actually? obviously his points aren’t very good and from what I’ve seen of his advances stats those aren’t that great either.

He definitely has to improve his skating but I always thought he was too smart & too skilled for the plugs he was paired with (his most common linemates were Pezzetta, Dauphin, T. Pitlick, Armia). I think he should do great on the wing with decently skilled players, like the spot you have Johan Larsson in.
