Starting a totally green rookie out as a centre is not a smart move, especially when both McLeods are capable of the job.

Yes Barrie is an expensive 7th D however at this point it isn’t looking like Holland is finding a trade for him before the season starts my guess is they run 11 and 7 when the season starts if they do this and scratch Derek Ryan having Janmark and Foegele as they 4th wingers much like they ran last year while searching for an appropriate trade for Barrie.

Yeah I would like more too however its known that Puljujarvi doesn’t want to be here and if it goes to arbitration it probably won’t be good for the oilers so at least we get something.

Why not 11-7? Using broberg as seven he's versatile to play both sides could give him alot of different looks and be better guarded against injuries. Adding a huge top four d only effect on current roster is having Derek Ryan or foegele stay healthy chilling in press box sign me up.

I would really like to see Ryan and Foegele traded.
