Yeah, that's fair. I was thinking maybe move Muzzin out the door, pad a few contracts with more AAV (Nino, ZAR, Sandin), carry 13F 7D, and have some room at the deadline.

Moving Muzzin may be another one that falls into the category of unrealistic. His cap hit compared to his expected future performance is not good and he has a NTC. Could be wrong, but I don't see Toronto moving out another player that also requires compensation to facilitate the trade.

Considering what defensemen are going for this offseason, I doubt we'd have to add. It's be a very minimal return, but we wouldn't add.
