Description

To reiterate the trade: "JTC to Chicago because its his home town and they can take on the contract. Picks might not be 100% accurate, but all I'm worried about is getting the cap hit off the avs".

This is not what the picks are going to be, and I'm very obviously not a professional. It's just what I think we should do in terms of trade.

I would also give MacKinnon an 8x12mil extension. Then, after this season and if Byram plays well enough, I might train the thought of trading Sam Girard. Right now, I think trading G would greatly diminish our defensive depth and he's too good on a great contract. He just had an off year the previous season, but looked great in the playoffs once he was healthy.

i could see Chicago picking him up and maybe flipping him at the TDL, but it's got to be more then just a jump one round up from what they give up to get him. In other words, can pay a 3rd and get a 2nd back...too risky (not to mention our 3rd rounder will basically be a late 2nd).
