People are hating on this Dorion trade and expected more return for Brown. Clearly all draft pick returns on trades are coming way under what all the ACGMs here think it should be… that means it’s fair value. Move on.

It probably also makes room for hopefully another great Dorion trade for a top 4 RD. Which I bet will cost way less than all the ACGMs think it will (Chychrun, Weager etc).

Come on man Giroux is a way bette player then Brown.if you think about it we replaced brown with Giroux and got a 2nd. That’s amazing. We wouldn’t have been able to pay brown what he wanted next offseason. Also the fact that he has one year left decreased his value a bit. Dorion made two fantastic over the past week. 100%. The fact that Pierre got a 2nd was great. We knew he wasn’t staying past next season. Who knows if he resigns with Washington too. Plus there was really no space. There’s no chance that Joseph, Formenton or pinto would play on the 4th line

I think he’ll use it to get a top 4 defensemen along with some more picks and a prospect. As soon as we trade for one I think we’re playoff bound.
