Zero chance on that proposal for Chychrun. It's a top prospect and first round pick. Not a player is essentially older than him and cap relief.

It’s a very smart move honestly.
You land a player just as good as well as a first and a player who you can retain and get a 2nd for. Then flip Provorov and get about the same as you’d get for Chychurn. You get much more value this way.

Said the same thing yesterday… the only difference in these two players is Chychurn is injury prone and Provorov cost 2M more, if the yotes retained on Provorov they’d land a return identical or better than that of Chychurn, plus the first and 2nd for dealing JVR…
