No, chytils playoff didn’t really boost his value. But miller has gained more value due to more teams being in on him now

I discussed this same question about a week ago. My gut tells me no, as Vancouver seems to want an uncompromising offer for JT Miller. In addition, there seems to be even more interest from the rest of the league than before.

If the Rangers ultimately acquired him, I honestly think Kakko is going the other way.

Nah his playoff performance definitely did boost it- example of this is Barclay Goodrow- mediocre bottom 6 player who the rangers threw 20 million at bc a good playoff run. And while yes, more teams are in on Miller, its only playoff bound teams that need centers which there are few of. Everyone knows Vancouver wants to trade Miller, so theyre probably only going to get a little more than what they were offered at the deadline. Lots of sellers too the year before a monster draft.

Because goodrow was a very valuable player on a team that won back to back cups. Chytil, scored a few goals but did nothing else. He’s a bottom 6c and the fact that drury has publically said he doesn’t trust having chytil as a 2c and then goodrow as a 3c means that his value has not gone up from that of a bottom 6 forward. Which is a piece you add for a guy like miller not a piece that the return package is built around. Replace lundkvist with schneider and the deal is good or replace chytil with kakko then add more and it would be good
