supply and demand my friend! There are lot of team that would be willing to pay big price for Drucks D... the question in which team will sweeten the pot for Ducks.

of course that is taken into consideration. its annoying seeing what people think some of these values are.

at this point in time anyone could be right... its a waiting game to see if Ducks get a big return for them or not. Who knows maybe they will work out a deal with Vegas to give them something and they dont trade any of the D. lets see.

IMO it'll be Vatanen that goes.. and yep, there's people on here that have been really overvaluing him. It's no secret the ducks need to trade a defense, and if you look at the numbers (basic or analytics) Vatanen isn't even as good as Zaitsev, yet he gets paid more and plays second pairing minutes.

Coming from a Toronto Fan... The reason Vat plays second pairing minutes is because of the talent we have on D.

That doesn't change his performance? He's obviously not bad, but nothing to suggest that he's a top pairing guy worth the value that some are suggesting.. I think that's what this guys post was about.

I actually agree with you on this. Even though you think the D are valued low for the ducks. I'll try this for you.
These are hockey trades. No bullshit draft picks or "prospects" there is a reason they are "prospects" they aren't NHL ready and possibly never be NHL ready. I'm also going to post this on your Ducks Thread too.

I agree with some of the values, reality is though none will happen because Leafs won't want to deal young players but the Ducks won't want any of the short term vets that they'd have to protect.

See the thing is the Ducks don't have to trade with the leafs, there are 29 other teams, not just the leafs. The Ducks may want Nylander and if the Leafs don't want to give him up for whomever, the Ducks can trade with another team, simple.
