    One year of an excellent and cheap backup goalie is worth more to us than one year of a very good but expensive middle-6 forward. For one thing, we might want to re-sign Stolarz after the season, which would be a practical impossibility if we trade him; there's virtually no chance that we would want to re-sign Kerfoot.

    Kerfoot needs to be traded if they want an upgrade at goalie and a 2nd line fwd is all. Stolarz not a necessity.
