I know there is a lot of talk around the sens and JP, but I just don't see him as having the Offensive skill to keep up with Debrinkcat and Stuzle, I would rather have Jospeh or Brown in that spot.

Also Retaining more than 2.5 on the Murray deal is a nonstarter as the Cap Penalty for a buy-out is 2.5, so I don't see the Sens retaining more than that. This follows with what the retention would have been in the Buffalo deal, which I still think was a fake-out move by Dorian to get the Debricat deal done.

How else do you think we'd be able to trade Murray? Would you trade Forsberg or Gustavsson instead and run with Murray in a tandem?

I do want to see Murray traded, What I am saying is it makes no sense to retain more than 2.5 mill because that is the Cap penalty for a buyout, so at that point, I would just buy him out instead of trading him. However, I understand that the owners may not want to make the payments for a buy-out.
