SO thats 5 goalies at LEAST that I would take of Georgiev who as well hasnt played over 34 games. I would even take Holtby and Halak over Georgiev

Holtby concerns me deeply given his numbers in WAS. Even his numbers in DAL don't inspire confidence. At least Georgiev's numbers are behind an often defensively-weak team in NY. Samsonov and Comrie are about on-par with Georgiev for me.

Georgiev is certainly a downgrade from all 3 goalies the oilers had last year.
Look at Shesterkin's numbers behind the same defense. Now look at the Oilers defense. Geogiev will be at .700 behind the Oilers D core.

Shesty's numbers behind that defense are precisely why he's perhaps the best goalie in the league. Once they're adjusted to take the team in front of him, his numbers came out around league average IIRC: a definite upgrade on Koskinen's, comparable to Skinner's, and well behind Smith's.
